My great grandfather, Timothy Larner, was married in Shrule on April 20th, 1865. His bride was Mary Anne Lewis.
He was a Sub-Constable in the Irish Constabulary and she was a Ladies Maid at Dalgan.
I've seen the Church Records and his name was unclear.
Please correct computer records.

Looking for my husband family that had a farm in Ballenrobe. I think all the brothers came to Chicago but his sister stayed behind and she and her husband took over the farm. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you

Thank you for doing this. My great grandmother, Margaret Mellett, was born in Shrule and emigrated for the United States. The gravestone of her brother Patrick is pictured here. I hope to come to Shrule one day to try to find more about the family.

Just a line to say how VERY valuable and much appreciated was the OLD 'Shrule.com' website to those researching Shrule ancestors. Please can we be assured that ALL the information contained in the old site on history and genealogy is not reduced or altered ? At present the absence of this info. on the new site is really impeding my research progress.
